An "Hourglass Tree" looks a bit like an hourglass, with ancestors above the subject and descendants below. It's pretty lopsided,
because my Dad's side is almost a blank! Any living person has their details shown as "Private." Click on the link to the PDF (Portable Document Format) to view

This is some of the Woodward men and boys at Blenheim Palace.
They worked there as gamekeepers for the Churchill family.
The picture was taken about 1895.
 
Home of Albert and Louise Woodward, Park Farm, Miserden,
Gloucestershire, from about 1891 to 1901.
Dorothy Kilfoyle Woodward was born in this house in 1894.
Albert Woodward was a gamekeeper for the estate.
James and I visited this house in 2003 -
it's still the gamekeeper's cottage!
